He’s the No. 3 Pro-Style quarterback in the 2019 class, according to 247Sports’ Composite Rankings.A onetime Texas A&M commit, Gunnell reopened his recruitment in February. Since then, a new group of schools have ramped up their pursuit.Ohio State, Oklahoma State, Oregon and UCLA are four programs who are going after Gunnell. However, one other school seems to be in the lead right now.Arizona, led by new head coach Kevin Sumlin, seems to be the trending favorite for the Houston (Tex.) St. Pius X star. Gunnell officially visited the Wildcats late last month.All of the most recent picks in his 247Sports Crystal Ball are for Arizona. Nine of them, to be specific.Overall, 43 percent of the predictions have been for the Wildcats.Of course, things can change in recruiting. But for now, things look pretty good for Arizona with Gunnell.Gunnell has thrown for nearly 10,000 yards, 126 touchdowns and only 17 interceptions in the last two seasons.
