After Brody Brunyx recovered a fumble at the Rusheon 1, Tirey Robinson scored. Davontay Moss and Christian Turner scored all of the Bucs’ touchdowns in the seventh-grade victory. The Cougars (6-0, 4-0) lead Benton (5-1, 4-1) by one game with one to play. Benton defeated Rusheon in its final game. Quarterback Jeff King and Mike Miles scored two touchdowns each for the victorious eighth-grade Tigers. The Haughton Bucs clinched a share of the Bossier Parish middle school eighth-grade district championship with a 34-8 victory over the Greenacres Mustangs on Tuesday night at M.D. Ray Field at Airline Stadium. Connacht and Ireland forward John Muldoon has signed a new deal with the I.R.F.U for next season.The Club’s Captain and Portumna Native who’s in his 13th season says it was very easy to sign for another year adding he loves Connacht and couldn’t imagine playing anywhere else now.Muldoon made his senior debut in 2004 and has since played 260 times for the province, including 58 European games. The highest capped player, both for Connacht and in the PRO12 league, Muldoon has played in 11 of Connacht’s 15 games this season, starting all but one.
